Shame on Dallas Voice News Editor Anna Waugh

This is the world we live in. A convicted sex offender can get access to women and children if he just claims to be trans. No proof required.

Imagine my surprise when I stumbled across this disgusting bit of whitewashing published in the print edition of the Dallas Voice yesterday by Dallas Voice News Editor Anna Waugh. In a piece celebrating the 100% HRC rating of two local hospital systems titled “Parkland, Dallas VA get perfect scores” Waugh offered this bit of reportage about the Paul Ray Witherspoon aka “Paula Witherspoon” incident:

“Snowdon said HRC wants to see the number of hospitals continue to grow over the years as medical staff examines training needs and reviews policies to become more competitive. She also said many hospitals should change their polices before an incident occurs.

Transgender woman Paula Witherspoon got a ticket for using a women’s restroom at Parkland last year. The incident helped prompt the hospital to add trans protections to its policies, which also extend to visitors.

Ciiiissssilencing

So my blog was attacked and flagged down for hurting feels last week. This is a pattern in the MRA/TRA/Queerio movement to silence all descent at all costs. My blog just mocks the shit out of Male/Trans privilege and points out the hypocritical and often violent nature of these ‘activists.” Because it’s an anon blog they can’t threaten death or rape effectively so they just flag it under false pretenses. Just like Sophia Photo’s plans to do with Radical Feminist twitter accounts she disagrees with. No one gives a shit about Sociopath Photos but in So’s delusional mind we are all out gunning for him.

The cool thing is that someone stepped up and bought the this domain for me so I’ll be transferring all past posts to privilegedenyingtranny.com soon. Cheers for that. So I won’t have to worry about the TRA Horde and their self righteous butt hurt.

Imitation, Infiltration, and Invasion at Radfem Rise Up! 2013

Violent men want to silence women by any means necessary.

smashesthep

I am writing this as an attendee of Radfem Rise Up! 2013 held in Toronto, Ontario. These are my observations as an attendee, and not an organizer.

This past weekend I attended RadFem Rise Up! in Toronto. The scheduled speakers included a survivor of prostitution and domestic violence, a presentation on reproductive justice, and a discussion regarding the case of rape and suicide victim Rehtaeh Parsons, among other topics.

This conference was held as woman only because under patriarchy, women are uniquely targeted with violence and rape. Many attendees have been victims of incest, male violence, and rape, and wanted to discuss these experiences as women together. We believe we have a right to female-only safe space for such purposes. We also believe in the rights of trans people to organize and hold their own conferences if they so choose, but we expect them to respect our right…

MPP Cheri DiNovo: Toby’s Act made Same-Sex gatherings in Ontario illegal for Women

This is the essence of Privilege Denying Trannys. Getting the rights of women stripped away so no opposition can be heard. Hell, women don’t even want to talk about Trans. We want to talk about the systematic violence against us around the globe. But, because they’ve forced themselves on us now they have become a big topic of conversation. It’s disgusting how women are being hounded for trying to meet while these men in drag feel comfortable holding conferences at women’s health centers on how to rape women. Fuck these dudes.

File this one under “unintended consequences” for Lesbians, Gays, and Women’s Rights advocates living in Ontario. MPP Cheri DiNovo announced Friday that bill C-389, “Toby’s Act”, the 2012 bill she sponsored which intended to protect the rights of transgender persons, actually makes all same-sex gatherings illegal in the province. This will come as some surprise to many lesbians and gays who often exercise their rights to assemble freely in meetings, conferences, and social groups with other same-sex persons.  In addition, DiNovo claims the right of Ontarian women to assemble in any same-sex gatherings: whether they be reproductive rights orgs, Islamic faith gatherings, or lesbian support groups- has been eliminated by her bill. She has appealed to the Ontario Human Rights Council to back up her legal position.

DiNovo made her announcement in response to male complaints surrounding a small group of feminists holding a female-only meeting in a Toronto art…
